What happens on this site.
This version has no accounts, comment forms, newsletter signups or advertising code. Google Analytics is configured for the production domain; local and staging previews do not initialize it. Guide searches and campaign filters run in your browser; the search text is not sent to a search service.
Google Analytics.
On bombanana-guide.online and its www host, Google Analytics helps us understand page visits and usage. Your browser connects to Google and may send information such as the page URL, referrer, browser/device details and interaction events. Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send a custom user ID or the text typed into our guide search.
This implementation disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals. It does not load on other hostnames. Learn more in Google’s explanation of data use on partner sites.
Theme preferences.
If you change the color theme, your browser stores that preference locally under the key bombanana-theme. It is used to remember light or dark mode. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.
External websites and video.
Steam, Discord, and YouTube links open their own websites. Their privacy terms apply when you follow those links.
The homepage trailer initially shows a locally hosted image. Selecting Play loads an embedded YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. At that point, your browser connects to YouTube, and YouTube may process request and playback information under its own policies. The player is not loaded before you choose to play.
Hosting.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser headers to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its data practices. This policy describes the services currently included in the site. Details of any additional analytics or advertising service will be added if those services are introduced.
