We did not find a Demo download button on the official Steam store page checked on September 9, 2026. The developer’s September 2 FAQ says the team will reassess a possible return after focusing on launch; it gives no return date.

The official BOMBANANA! store page currently presents the paid full game and purchase bundles. The absence of a Demo button in the page we checked is a dated observation, not proof that the Demo has been permanently removed everywhere.
Open the official game page.
Check that the title is BOMBANANA! and the developer is Lefto Studio. Use the store’s current download or purchase options rather than an old video description.
If there is no Demo option, read the return statement.
The developer FAQ addresses the Demo directly. A possible reassessment is not a promised release date or an alternative download link.
Choose whether to wait or get the full game.
Use official Steam news for a future availability announcement. If you choose the full game, check its current regional price on Steam and use the online setup guide to prepare your group.
Why older posts say the Demo will return.
A planned pause and return.
The official “Playtest Sign-ups” post scheduled the Demo to go down on August 20 at 16:00 UTC. At that time, the team also said it would return with the full release.
The later FAQ gives a more cautious answer.
The developer’s pinned FAQ says launch is the priority and that the team will reassess whether it can bring the Demo back afterward. This later statement supplies no date.

The official listing showed the full-game purchase options; a Demo download option was not visible in the page checked.
Read the August announcement in official Steam news and compare it with the September FAQ. The older return promise explains what players may remember, but it does not establish a working download today.
Does the Demo stop at seven levels?
A historical v0.1.8 Demo recording shows a Level 7 result. That demonstrates a recorded level, not an official universal seven-level limit. The official sources reviewed for this page do not establish that every Demo build had the same cap.
A smaller, earlier build.
Use old footage to understand what that recording actually shows. Its last recorded level does not prove the current game ends there.

The September 2 launch announcement also describes additional puzzles, environments and gameplay improvements. Older Demo instructions can therefore be useful references without documenting every full-game feature or current puzzle rule.

Is there a confirmed free Demo download right now?
We could not confirm one from the official Steam page checked on September 9. This page links to the official listing so you can see any later change; it does not provide a separate installer.
Is the Demo permanently gone?
That is not established by the sources reviewed. The developer FAQ discusses reassessing a possible return. It does not announce permanent removal or guarantee that a return will happen.
I already have an old Demo in my Steam library. Will it work?
We have not tested an existing Demo installation or its online services. A library entry alone does not establish that the old build still launches, connects to servers or works with the full game.
Can my Demo join friends playing the full game?
The official sources reviewed here do not confirm Demo-to-full-game compatibility. Do not buy or arrange a session on that assumption. Check the developer’s current guidance and make sure the group is using compatible versions.
Why does an older video say “download the free Demo”?
That instruction describes the recording’s period. Compare its date with the official Demo pause announcement and later FAQ before treating it as a current installation guide.
